Why not start the day off with a delicious pancake. Nothing better than starting your first meal of the day with an anabolic breakfast. I’ll tell you, one of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast is one of the most important meal for those who are looking for an increase in muscle mass, it is the time that your body leaves a home and starts working, it is time to provide the ideal fuel, A protein breakfast.
Easy enough a toddler could do it. So no excuses OK?
Peanut Butter Protein Pancakes
- 2 Scoops of whey protein (your choice of flavor)
- 1 Whole egg
- 2 Tablespoons almond milk
- 2 Tablespoons ground almonds
- 1/8 Cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
- 1 Tablespoon peanut butter
Method of preparation
In a bowl you can mix all the ingredients together or if you prefer in a blender.
Then heat a non-stick frying pan with a tablespoon of coconut oil.
Put the dough bits in the center of the pan and lower the heat to medium.
Make the pancakes small sizes, to ensure they brown and cook all the sides and it becomes much easier to turn.
When bubbles start to appear you can flip them. Make sure both sides are well done.
You can eat these pancakes along with a jelly, dried fruit or chocolate which tastes super!
